All volunteers are guests of the Wild Sun Jungle Resort and have access to the yoga deck and infinity pool. Volunteers are housed in shared dorm style rooms unless you would like to upgrade to a shared deluxe room at extra cost.  Pre-vet interns and vet student externs are housed in shared deluxe rooms. There is high speed wifi throughout campus.

Our shared simple rooms are co-ed and are equipped with fans to reach every bed. Most rooms have screens on every window. All shared simple rooms share a bath house with hot showers.  

Shared rooms sleep 2-6 people depending on where you’ve been placed. Please let us know if you are uncomfortable sharing a room with someone of the opposite sex, we will do our best to accommodate you.

• Full term volunteers: $45.20 per week

Pre-vet interns and Vet student externs are housed in shared deluxe rooms. Volunteers may also upgrade at additional cost. You will be placed with a maximum of 2 roommates (up to 3 total occupants) although couples can request to be with only each other for privacy. These rooms are separated from common areas of the rescue center. They are equipped with A/C, a private bath with hot showers, mini fridge and smart tv with free Netflix.

Outside of each room is a patio or balcony that overlooks the Jungle Resort infinity pool with ocean view.   For volunteers and program participants, these rooms are offered at a discount from published hotel room rates.

• Full term volunteers:

    • mid August through mid November we offer a special rate of only an additional $271.20/wk and will set you up with a roommate if you so wish

    • rest of year:

  • Private Deluxe:

Volunteers are welcome to cook their own food in our shared kitchen. 

We also offer meal plans for an additional $197.75/wk. Meal plans are included for Pre-vet interns and Vet student externs:  

The meal plan offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner Sunday through Friday. On Saturdays, only breakfast is served. Volunteers have the option to use the volunteer kitchen to cook their own meals or eat out at one of the local restaurants for Saturday.

Food is prepared by Chef Randy, who is professionally trained and serves cuisine styles from all over the world. Randy serves a variety of chicken, seafood, meat and vegetarian/vegan options.
